Is my deposit refundable?

Deposits are always non-refundable. However, I do allow clients to transfer their deposit to another session with me if scheduled within the same year. If you do not wish to transfer your deposit or book something else with me, your deposit remains non-refundable. 

What if I need to reschedule?

I am always flexible with rescheduling. Life happens, and if something gets in the way of your session, just let me know and we can reschedule. It is your responsibility to communicate with me if you wish to reschedule. If we do not come up with a new date immediately upon canceling the original, it is your job to contact me to reschedule. Rescheduling must be done within 6 months of originally booked session, otherwise your deposit expires & you will need to rebook at full cost. 

Do you give unedited photos?

Nope. Never. If you're booking me, you are aware of my style & your photos will be consistent with my portfolio that you see on all of my handles, as well as my website. Under no circumstances do I give clients unedited photos. I also do not allow my photos to be altered in any way. All images are copyrighted under Sarah Noele Photography LLC & any alterations would be copyright infringement.

Do you touch-up photos?

My rule for this is that if it's something that will go away within some time, then I'll remove it from your photos. Things like pimples, cuts, and bruises will all be edited out of your photos. I will not airbrush your skin, or change the way your body looks in your photos.

What do we wear?

I always recommend sticking to neutral / earthy colors without crazy patterns when it comes to outfits. Think about complimenting colors rather than matching entirely. If you need help deciding on outfits, you can always send me pictures & I will help. I also have pinterest boards I can send over, as well as an outfit guide. I'm here to help coordinate & style your session, so don't hesitate to ask! 

Do you travel?
What are your travel fees?

I am based in CT, but I travel all around New England for sessions & weddings. Most of my sessions take place within 2 hours from my home, but I am willing to accommodate if you want me somewhere further, as long as I have availability. I do take on 1-2 destination weddings or elopements per years so if that's something you're looking for, reach out through my website & we can chat! Travel up to 1 hour is included in your session cost, and up to 2 hours in your wedding cost. Travel fees beyond this will depend on distance from my home.

When will I get my photos?

For most sessions & weddings, I will provide a sneak peek gallery within a few days. When it comes to full galleries, my average session turnaround time is around 2-4 weeks, and my average wedding turnaround time is 8-10 weeks. Timing of your full gallery also depends on how busy I am at the time. You can expect a bit of fluctuation on delivery time during different seasons, for example, the summer & fall tend to be much busier, so turnaround times may be a bit longer. 

How soon should I book?

The sooner the better. For weddings, I start booking the following year oftentimes over a year before. For sessions, I start booking for the whole year towards the end of the year prior or beginning of the year. If you're looking for a session during summer or fall, it's best to reach out ASAP because those months book much faster. Especially if you need a weekend date, you'll definitely want to reach out right away to ensure we can find a date that works. 

Can I book a mini session?

Mini sessions are offered on specific dates. I do not offer mini sessions on their own, so if you're looking for a discounted, shorter session you'll definitely want to keep an eye out for when I launch mini's throughout the year. 

What about payment plans?

I offer payment plans for all weddings & sessions. Deposits for weddings are 25% & deposits for sessions are 50%. Wedding payments are due 1 month before your wedding date, and we come up with a payment plan that works for you. For sessions, the remaining 50% is due on the day of your session. If you need to break up payments, I'm happy to chat about options. I believe everyone deserves to have special moments in their lives documented, so if money is ever an issue, please don't hesitate to ask about splitting up payments & we can work something out. 

How about session locations?

Session locations are up to you! If you already have a location in mind, I'm happy to go there. If you need help finding or deciding on a location, I'm happy to help. Typically for newborn sessions, I just come to your home, but if you want to do something like a studio, we can arrange that as well. Essentially we're a team when it comes to planning your session, so I'm here to help if you need it & will also go wherever you want if you have somewhere special in mind already!
